In 1992 a New TOYOTA HI-ACE Super-T 16-Seater minibus was acquired to assist with the transport of the children.
During 1993 an Aroma therapy and dietary input through qualified practitioners were focussed on leading to the construction of the kitchen. Latest physio educational aids were obtained.
In 1994 The Centre has applied for REGISTRATION and government
SUBSIDISATION. Unfortunately due to departmental shifts the application went astray. A fresh application was re submitted. The Centre received a FUND RAISING NUMBER 08 800983 000 4 from the Director of fund raising.
The Centre applied for a piece of land to erect a new fully designed school. This grant of land is also at a very advanced stage and it should not be long before building/erection of the new school could commence. The Erection of a new school forms part of the vision to be realised in our second decade
During 1995 the Centre was awarded “Organisation of the Year” award from the MUSLIM VIEWS - together with Cyril Ramaphosa and Mr Saidoo
During 1996 The Council Approved the Sale of Ground to SPDCC. No Transfer yet.
We were selected as beneficiary of Young Stars and Caledonian Roses Rag proceeds. R5000 was awarded to the Centre
1997 The Centre was selected as one of the beneficiaries of Radio Voice of the Cape Annual Festival Fund raiser – During 1998 The Centre received a VW 2.1 Microbus together with some electronic musical instruments and a Television-Video Combo set
2000 Purchasing of our new property took place. Transfer of the property to the Centre Trust took place in February 2001
2001 The Centre had to close its doors in July due to a lack of funds. This triggered a huge revival campaign, which resulted in many positive spin offs, in retrospect, appear as if it was a blessing in disguise
2002 We have said farewell to one of our long serving and dedicated teachers, Mrs Van der Schyff. Received our. Certificate of Registration of Non Profitable Organisation (N.P.O. Number: 004-515). September we received for the first time a well deserved Government subsidy for the pupils under the age of 18 years.
2003 The Centre had its first Golf Day Challenge fundraiser which was hosted by Mountview Charity Golf Club (MCGC) at the Parow Golf Course
2005 February 5, 2005 marked our 20th anniversary. Construction to commence in August this year.
